About the role
Wave is expanding its fintech footprint in Guinea and needs a proactive Business Development Manager to act as the bridge between external partners and internal teams. You will drive partnership acquisition, manage stakeholder relationships, and support the rapid scaling of Wave’s financial services across the market.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, research and acquire strategic partners such as the Central Bank, commercial banks, micro‑finance institutions, telecom operators and international remittance providers.
- Negotiate and execute partnership contracts, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Produce regular performance reports and dashboards for partners and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and update presentation decks for partner meetings and internal playbooks.
- Facilitate clear communication between external partners and Wave’s product, finance, distribution, compliance and legal teams.
- Promote Wave’s culture and help maintain a fun, rewarding work environment.
Required profile
- Resourceful, highly organized and able to work independently.
- Strong network and proven ability to build relationships with financial and telecom entities.
- Excellent research, negotiation and contract management skills.
- Adaptable mindset to support evolving partnership needs as Wave scales.
