Condition Monitoring Supervisor

About the role

The Condition Monitoring Supervisor leads a team of technicians to assess machinery health and drive proactive maintenance across fixed plant and heavy mobile equipment assets. The role develops and maintains condition monitoring standards, integrates findings into the CMMS/APM system, and ensures high equipment reliability while supporting safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead scheduling, implementation and execution of condition monitoring programs for fixed plant and heavy mobile equipment.
• Develop reliability management plans, KPIs, and preventive maintenance strategies using RCM studies.
• Perform FMEA, criticality analysis, and root‑cause analysis for major systems.
• Coordinate vibration, oil, thermography, ultrasonic and thickness‑measurement inspections.
• Validate, upload and maintain condition monitoring data in CMMS/APM, ensuring data integrity.
• Generate regular health, trend and KPI reports for engineering and production teams.
• Provide technical input for shutdown planning and long‑term asset strategies.
• Train and mentor technicians and operators on monitoring practices and defect reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading condition monitoring programs for industrial or mining assets.
• Strong understanding of reliability centered maintenance and preventive maintenance planning.
• Ability to analyse predictive data, identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Commitment to safety standards, OEM guidelines and regulatory compliance.
