Field Service Technician – Mining & Construction

About the role

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to provide effective technical interventions on BIA’s equipment used in mining and construction projects across Guinea. The role ensures equipment reliability and customer satisfaction under maintenance contracts and SLA agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot and repair field equipment following shop manuals and OEM standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment availability.
• Follow planning instructions, complete required reporting and adhere to HSE procedures.
• Maintain safe working conditions for all personnel on site and ensure environmental conservation.
• Identify, record and report health, safety and environmental issues, and participate in HSE events.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in mining or construction environments.
• At least 5 years experience as an electrician.
• Technical school diploma in a relevant field.
• Fluent in French and good knowledge of English.
