Senior Technician (Mechanic & Electrical)

About the role

The Senior Technician will provide effective and efficient technical interventions on field equipment used in public works, mining, quarrying and transport operations. You will ensure optimal customer satisfaction by adhering to BIA’s maintenance contracts and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, configure, modify and repair equipment following shop manuals and repair processes.
• Perform preventive and curative maintenance in line with OEM standards to guarantee equipment availability.
• Follow planning instructions and maintain accurate reporting according to company procedures.
• Uphold BIA’s core values and ensure safe working conditions on site.
• Identify, record and report safety, health or environmental concerns and suggest corrective actions.

Required profile

• Diploma or proven factory certificate training; Komatsu machine training is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical field maintenance.
• Experience working overseas is advantageous.
