About the role

Rio Tinto is seeking recent graduates in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related fields to join its IT Graduate Programme. The role offers the chance to work on technology projects that support one of the world’s largest mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance and improvement of internal applications.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in testing, documentation and deployment activities.

Required profile

• Graduated between 2024 and 2026 in a relevant IT discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving ability.
• Good written and oral communication skills; basic English proficiency.
• Less than two years of experience through internships or academic projects.
• Valid driver’s licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Familiarity with common IT tools and application technologies.
