Social Analysis Lead

About the role

K&A Engineering Consulting is looking for a Social Analysis Lead to support an MCC‑funded infrastructure project in West Africa. You will lead social impact assessments, ensuring compliance with international standards and contributing to sustainable energy and utility development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee comprehensive social impact assessments for large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Ensure alignment with World Bank and IFC Performance Standards.
• Prepare and present assessment reports to stakeholders and funding agencies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and local partners in West African countries.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of international experience in social impact assessments and infrastructure project implementation.
• Prior experience on World Bank‑funded or similar large‑scale projects.
• Master’s degree in a social science or related field.
• Extensive experience working in West African countries.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFC Performance Standards.
• Expertise in social impact assessment methodologies.
