Supply Chain Assistant (G4) – 4 Positions

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking four Supply Chain Assistants (G4) to support its Sub‑Office in Guinea. Working under the Chief of Mission and in close collaboration with the Supply Chain Officer and Resources Management Officer, the role ensures smooth procurement and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, consolidate, and verify procurement requisition forms against the Purchase Authorization Matrix.
• Prepare tender documents, solicit bids, and compile bid analysis summaries for requesting units.
• Confirm agreement terms with selected suppliers, draft purchase orders or contracts, and obtain required authorizations.
• Monitor open requisitions, follow up on timely delivery of goods and services, and coordinate receipt documentation.
• Review vendor invoices, prepare payment requests, and liaise with Finance for timely supplier payments.
• Maintain physical and electronic procurement records in compliance with IOM procedures and retrieve information as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement or supply‑chain functions, preferably within an international or humanitarian context.
• Ability to work under supervision of senior mission staff and coordinate with headquarters and administrative centres.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with internal procurement policies.
