Resources Management Officer (P) – Expression of Interest

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Resources Management Officer (P) to support its Country Office in Guinea. The officer will work under the Chief of Mission and coordinate closely with regional and headquarters units to ensure sound financial, human‑resources and administrative management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee financial management for all Country Office activities, including expenditure tracking and accountability.
• Conduct financial analysis of programmes in coordination with the Chief of Mission and Deputy Regional Director for Management.
• Supervise treasury functions, forecast cash flows and manage funds disbursement in line with donor agreements.
• Prepare programme and budget reports according to IOM regulations and procedures.
• Review monthly accounts, analyse variances between budgeted and actual expenditures, and take proactive actions to avoid deficits.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets for new projects and provide technical support to project managers throughout the project cycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting and reporting within an international or humanitarian setting.
• Familiarity with donor agreement compliance and treasury operations.
• Ability to prepare and analyse financial reports and programme budgets.
