Loma-English Medical Interpreter (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Loma‑English interpreter to provide consecutive medical interpretation remotely. You will enable clear communication between healthcare professionals and Loma‑speaking patients.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and other health‑related information between Loma‑speaking patients and clinicians.
• Facilitate dialogue during consultations, examinations, and follow‑up appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards.

Required profile

• Fluency in both Loma and English.
• Interpretation or translation experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Reliable internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps download/upload).
• PC with at least an Intel Core i7 (6th gen or newer) and 8 GB RAM.
• USB wired headset with noise‑cancellation (e.g., Logitech H390 or similar).
• LAN (Ethernet) connection with latency ≤ 100 ms.
• HD webcam and a professional, distraction‑free workspace.
