About the role

The Mechanical Supervisor will lead the maintenance team responsible for the core equipment of the mine processing plant in Canga (Beyla). The role combines hands‑on technical leadership with daily planning, ensuring tools, materials and permits are available to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Implement work methods and promote a strong safety, performance and teamwork culture.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, conveyors, crushers, grinders, thickeners, hydraulic systems and piping.
• Supervise, coordinate and support a team of mechanics, assigning daily preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Manage preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance programmes, review completed work orders and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and mentor local workforce skills to meet operational standards.
