Commercial Free‑Lance – Guinée

About the role

This is a three‑month freelance commercial position based in Guinea. You will work on a commission‑only basis to generate sponsorship revenue for the CAMEPT conference by prospecting qualified participants and closing high‑value deals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach IFIs, ministries, and private companies in the mining, energy and transport sectors.
• Deliver pitch presentations on CAMEPT projects, PNCD initiatives and ROI for participants.
• Negotiate sponsorship contracts (Platinum 50 M FCFA, Gold 30 M FCFA, Silver 15 M FCFA).
• Secure letters of intent, protocols of agreement and participation contracts.
• Build pipelines of qualified decision‑makers per country and recruit participants.
• Provide weekly reports on pipeline status, signed deals and registrations via Slack or email.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of B2B sales experience in mining, energy, finance or related sectors.
• Established network of public and private decision‑makers, IFIs and banks in Guinea.
• Fluent in French and English; knowledge of local languages (Arabic, Portuguese) is a plus.
• Fully autonomous, proactive and able to close deals without supervision.
• Comfortable with a 100 % commission model (no fixed salary).
