General Manager, Site Services & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a General Manager to lead Site Services and Infrastructure for the Simfer and Simandou projects in Guinea. Reporting to the COO, you will shape strategy and ensure safe, reliable support for all operational activities on the Canga site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Site Services & Infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Provide visible safety leadership and embed HSE risk management across all service areas.
• Lead inbound logistics to manage the movement of personnel, equipment, materials and supplies.
• Oversee business services, travel, camp operations, transportation, utilities, facilities management and camp maintenance.
• Drive operational excellence to improve service reliability, productivity and cost‑effectiveness.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, government representatives and external stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
• Participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team to influence overall business strategy.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in site services, logistics or facilities management, preferably in mining or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Strong track record of delivering safe and reliable support services in remote or challenging locations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to work across multicultural teams.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive continuous improvement.
