National Marketing Manager

About the role

Promasidor is seeking a National Marketing Manager to lead the design, planning, execution, and evaluation of all strategic marketing and communication activities across Guinea. The role ensures alignment between above‑the‑line and below‑the‑line initiatives, driving brand visibility and ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Control and analyse Bills of Material (BOM), pricing structures, promotions, new product launches and distribution policies.
• Negotiate and purchase media airtime, securing discounts and bonus placements.
• Develop annual marketing communication objectives, strategies and budgets.
• Create and monitor an annual events and promotions calendar.
• Prepare monthly marketing expenditure reports and performance dashboards.
• Conduct field audits to assess merchandising execution and branding compliance.
• Identify innovative promotional tools and continuously improve marketing assets.
• Maintain strong media relationships and ensure prominent brand presence.
• Lead the marketing team, providing strategic direction and ensuring optimal ROI.
• Manage POSM inventory, guaranteeing quality at retail outlets.
• Act as brand ambassador across retail and distribution channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive marketing experience.
• Strong knowledge of current marketing trends and multimedia platforms.
• Excellent presentation, people‑management and leadership abilities.
• Solid understanding of public‑relations principles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyse research data and translate insights into strategic decisions.
