People and Culture Officer

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a People and Culture Officer to support the delivery of strategic and operational HR services for its Guinea country programme (2024‑2028). Working under the People & Culture Specialist, the officer will advise managers, assist with recruitment, and contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR advice on policies, procedures and employee‑lifecycle matters to managers and staff.
• Support fair and transparent resolution of HR issues and promote gender equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Contribute to the implementation of HR strategy, monitor trends and promote best practices.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, induction and workforce planning activities.
• Engage with UN Volunteers, produce knowledge‑sharing materials and support online volunteering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, International Relations or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional HR experience; experience with international organisations is an asset.
• Fluent English and French.
