About the role
The Cargo Manager will drive market awareness, sales and service standards for Emirates SkyCargo in Guinea, overseeing export and import operations to maximise revenue, tonnage and yield.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cargo staff, ensuring compliance with corporate and local regulations while developing a skilled workforce.
- Identify and implement sales and operational strategies, negotiate agreements, and monitor market trends.
- Coordinate with handling agents, airport authorities and suppliers to optimise cargo uplift and capacity utilisation.
- Provide regular commercial reports, pricing feedback and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in cargo operations and sales, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations and Advanced Load Control.
- Valid driving licence and right to work in Guinea.
