Finance Manager – French Speaking (Guinea)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Finance Manager to lead our finance team in Guinea, ensure accurate reporting and support business performance. Fluency in French is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports within agreed deadlines.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, banking relationships and foreign currency transactions.
• Ensure compliance with local tax legislation, statutory requirements and applicable accounting standards.
• Maintain effective internal controls, oversee reconciliations and coordinate external audits.
• Monitor costs, profitability and financial risks, providing practical recommendations to management.
• Lead and develop the finance team while liaising with regional teams, auditors, banks and authorities in French and English.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline and a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent).
• At least five years of relevant finance experience, including managing a finance function or team.
• Fluent spoken and written French and English.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting and cash‑flow management.
• Experience working within African markets and multi‑currency environments is advantageous.
