Legal Manager – Retail & Mass Distribution

About the role

The Legal Manager will support the General Management of a retail and mass‑distribution company by ensuring legal security across all operations. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the role involves anticipating risks, advising on compliance, and handling contractual and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to General Management and all internal departments (Procurement, Commercial, Finance, HR, Logistics, Marketing, IT, Operations).
• Identify legal risks linked to business decisions and propose practical solutions.
• Monitor legislation applicable to the retail and mass‑distribution sector.
• Draft, review, negotiate and approve commercial contracts, supplier agreements, store leases, service contracts and distribution agreements.
• Maintain a system to track contract deadlines, renewals and obligations.
• Support the Procurement team during supplier negotiations and assist in dispute resolution.
• Handle labor‑law issues, consumer‑protection matters and relations with public authorities.

Required profile

• Legal degree with experience in corporate, commercial and labor law.
• Proven ability to advise senior management and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of retail and mass‑distribution regulatory environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to contractual detail.
