Mécanicien Process – Maintenance industrielle

About the role

IBS Maroc is recruiting a Process Mechanic for an international group operating in West Africa. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical process equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on crushing, conveying and storage equipment.
• Carry out visual and auditory inspections, diagnose mechanical faults (vibrations, hydraulic leaks, breakages) and execute repairs.
• Disassemble, repair and re‑assemble bearings, gear reducers, pulleys, rollers, metal decks and crusher adjustment systems.
• Conduct wear checks on liners, jaws, bearings, belts and shafts.
• Complete check‑lists or job cards according to maintenance manuals and support emergency interventions to restart the plant.
• Apply LOTO procedures, work permits and height‑work instructions, secure the work area and use mandatory PPE.
• Participate in risk analyses, promote safety culture and protect the environment.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Heavy‑Machinery or Electromechanics.
• Minimum 3‑4 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in mining, quarry or crusher operations.
• Strong ability to quickly solve mechanical problems, observe, diagnose and analyse issues.
• Organised, rigorous, good communication skills and ability to work under pressure and in rotating shifts.
• High sense of responsibility for safety and teamwork.
