People Operations Associate

About the role

Wave is building the first cashless continent in Africa and needs a People Operations Associate to keep its Conakry and up‑country offices running smoothly. You will own HR processes, office administration and logistics, ensuring a supportive environment for the growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HR policies, manage employee records, onboarding, performance reviews and work permits.
• Oversee day‑to‑day office operations, health‑and‑safety compliance, utilities, security, supplies and cleaning services.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, fleet and driver management, and office budgets and procurements.
• Plan and execute corporate events such as happy hours, retreats and conferences.
• Monitor and manage vendor relationships for canteen, security and other services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional training in business administration, HR or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast‑paced international company.
• Strong organizational, prioritisation and crisis‑management abilities.
• Fluency in English and French and the right to work in Guinea.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
