Planning Manager

About the role

The Planning Manager will support BIA Group's service operations in Guinea, ensuring effective organization of resources, workforce planning, and maintenance execution for a fleet of equipment used in public works, mining and transport.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and follow quality plans, monitor KPIs and report non‑conformities.
• Participate in HSE toolbox talks, enforce PPE usage and safety procedures such as Take 5.
• Manage maintenance planning, work orders, parts pricing and coordination with the Warehouse Manager.
• Prepare short‑ and long‑term component change‑out schedules, Gantt charts and budget forecasts.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly activity reports and attend safety meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in mining or heavy‑equipment industry, including at least 3 years abroad.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formula creation.
