Project Manager – Construction / Civil Engineering

About the role

The Project Manager will lead and deliver construction and civil engineering projects in Guinea from initiation through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, monitor and close projects, developing schedules, budgets, resource plans and risk management strategies.
• Manage contracts, variations, claims and commercial matters while monitoring costs and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with Guinean laws, permitting, labor, environmental and safety regulations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, contractors, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain stakeholder communication, prepare progress reports and presentations for senior management and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field; PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• 8‑10 years of project management experience in construction or civil engineering, preferably in West Africa.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Project scheduling software: Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Cost control and project reporting systems.
