Remote Medical Interpreter (Spanish ↔ English/French)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Medical Interpreter fluent in Spanish, English and French to work 100% remotely. You will enable clear, accurate communication between patients and healthcare providers in medical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for medical appointments.
• Use correct medical terminology and ensure culturally appropriate communication.
• Be available for over‑the‑phone (OPI), video remote interpreting (VRI) or scheduled sessions.

Required profile

• 6 months to 3 years of professional interpretation experience.
• Proven expertise in medical (or legal) interpreting.
• High listening, note‑taking and memory retention abilities.
• Professional, HIPAA‑compliant home setup with wired noise‑cancelling headset and minimum 10 Mbps upload / 20 Mbps download internet speed.

Required skills

• Fluency in Spanish, English and French.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Simultaneous and consecutive interpreting techniques.
• Experience with OPI/VRI platforms.
• HIPAA compliance.
