Senior Associate – West Africa Advisory (Guinea)

About the role

This senior associate position supports the client’s first advisory project in Guinea, helping to unlock private capital for impactful investments in underserved markets. The role blends day‑to‑day project execution, Guinea‑focused business development and transaction advisory support.

Key responsibilities

• Drive day‑to‑day execution across advisory workstreams, including investment opportunity identification, sector and geographic assessments, and investor mapping.
• Identify, qualify and engage regional and international investors, clients, partners and other stakeholders for Guinea‑focused opportunities.
• Support business development in Guinea through market assessments, client and partner identification and strategy development.
• Collaborate with leadership on partnership and client development and pursue new business opportunities in the region.
• Lead or support transaction advisory engagements, including commercial due diligence, market research, client‑facing recommendations and post‑investment value‑creation work.
• Advise on structuring and deployment of blended‑finance vehicles and other investment solutions to mobilise private capital.
• Prepare analytical outputs, presentations, recommendations and stakeholder updates for clients, investors and internal teams.

Required profile

• At least four years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity or a similar advisory‑focused environment.
• Extensive experience living and working in Guinea with a strong understanding of the local and regional investment landscape.
• Established contacts across Guinea’s and/or the region’s financial services sector, including investors, lenders, corporates, funds or advisory partners.
