Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Advanced Warehouse Management Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Advanced Warehouse Management, you will design, configure, and implement end‑to‑end warehouse solutions on the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management platform. You will act as the primary subject‑matter expert, guiding clients through the full implementation lifecycle and ensuring best‑practice, efficient warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of D365 SCM Advanced Warehouse Management (AWM) solutions, including wave templates, location directives, work policies, and inventory tracking.
• Architect complete warehouse processes such as receiving, put‑away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, cross‑docking, and cycle counting.
• Configure mobile device menus, work classes, and the Warehouse Mobile Device Portal (WMDP) to optimise user experience.
• Design slotting, containerisation, and zone‑based strategies and advise on layout, bin structure, and license‑plate management.
• Conduct fit‑gap analyses, recommend extensions or ISV solutions, and produce functional specifications and configuration workbooks.
• Lead full‑lifecycle implementations, facilitate workshops, develop test plans (SIT, UAT, regression), and support data migration.
• Manage change control, issue escalation, risk identification, and deliver end‑user training and change‑management activities.
• Serve as the primary client contact for the AWM workstream, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to pre‑sales activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management projects, specifically Advanced Warehouse Management.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements, conduct workshops, and manage full implementation lifecycles.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, layout design, and inventory management best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to act as the main client liaison and mentor team members.
