Senior MNCH Technical Advisor for REACH Malaria

About the role

PATH is seeking a Senior Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Technical Advisor to lead technical assistance for the U.S. Government‑funded REACH Malaria project in Guinea. The role focuses on improving the quality of antenatal, delivery, postnatal, and newborn services, as well as integrating malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea, and nutrition interventions at facility and community levels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall MNCH technical leadership for the project in Guinea.
• Lead technical, management, and monitoring aspects of activity implementation, ensuring alignment with national guidance and global best practices.
• Develop policies, guidelines, and training materials; participate in MNCH technical working groups.
• Support capacity strengthening for health workers to integrate MNCH interventions and improve clinical management of labor, delivery, post‑natal care, and emergency obstetric care.
• Strengthen referral systems, community case management, and in‑service training for malaria case management, MiP, and MNCH.

Required profile

• Extensive clinical and public‑health experience with a focus on MNCH.
• Proven experience supporting ministries of health, MNCH divisions, and local health facilities.
• Strong curriculum design, training, and coaching abilities.
• Fluency in French; proficiency in English preferred.
