Senior MNCH Technical Advisor – REACH Malaria

About the role

PATH is seeking a Senior Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Technical Advisor to lead technical assistance for the U.S. Government‑funded REACH Malaria project in Guinea. The role focuses on improving the quality of antenatal, delivery, postnatal, and newborn services while integrating malaria prevention and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall MNCH technical leadership for the project in Guinea.
• Lead technical, management, and monitoring aspects of activity implementation, ensuring alignment with national guidance and global best practices.
• Develop policies, guidelines, and training materials; participate in MNCH technical working groups.
• Support implementation of REACH Malaria activities, emphasizing quality clinical management of labor, delivery, post‑natal care, and emergency obstetric care.
• Enhance integrated management of childhood illnesses (malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea, nutrition) at facility and community levels.
• Strengthen referral systems, community case management, and in‑service capacity building for malaria case management, MiP, and MNCH.

Required profile

• Strong clinical and public‑health background with a focus on MNCH.
• Extensive experience supporting ministries of health, MNCH divisions, and health facilities.
• Proven curriculum design, training, and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in French required, English proficiency preferred.
