About the role

The Process Plant Welder will be responsible for conducting and monitoring plant installations to ensure safe, efficient production. The role involves welding, fabrication, assembly, repair and maintenance of equipment, pipelines, metal structures and plant installations while adhering to technical drawings and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, assembly and repair on metal structures and pipelines.
• Set and adjust welding parameters to achieve high‑quality joints using various processes and torches.
• Identify, prepare and manage appropriate materials and consumables.
• Work autonomously while following supervisor instructions.
• Strictly observe HSE rules, obtain hot‑work permits and apply LOTO procedures before any intervention.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and conduct pre‑work safety checks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any hazardous situation immediately.

Required profile

• Professional training in welding, boiler making or metal construction.
• Certified welder qualification meeting site or project requirements.
• 3‑5 years of industrial welding experience, preferably in processing plants, mining, cement, refinery or heavy industry.
• Proven experience welding pipelines and metal structures.
• Ability to work in demanding conditions (height, confined spaces).

Required skills

• Welding (arc, TIG, MIG, torch) and related equipment operation.
• Metal fabrication and assembly techniques.
• Hot‑work permit procedures and LOTO safety practices.
• Use of PPE (helmet, goggles, welding gloves, fire‑resistant clothing, safety shoes, respiratory and hearing protection).
