Technical Services Manager

About the role

Mansa Resources is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead the Technical Services function at site level. Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure high‑quality mine planning and geological support for safe and profitable gold extraction.

Key responsibilities

• Promote health, safety and environmental standards across the department.
• Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Manage departmental budgets, contracts and reporting.
• Oversee geology, grade‑control drilling, ore‑control systems and QA/QC protocols.
• Develop weekly, monthly and annual production plans and maintain cost models.
• Plan and supervise drill‑and‑blast operations and survey activities, including drone work.
• Monitor pit‑wall stability and ensure compliance with geotechnical designs.
• Manage ROM and long‑term stockpiles, ore blending and monthly mine‑to‑mill reconciliations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cost‑control reporting to senior management.
• Ensure statutory compliance and maintain high‑quality technical data.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mining, Geology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mining technical roles.
• At least 5 years in a management position.
• NI 43‑101 Qualified Person preferred.
• Strong experience in open‑pit gold operations, preferably in developing countries.
