Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Manager will lead the spare‑parts warehouse operations for BIA Group in Guinea, ensuring efficient stock movements, accurate inventory, and timely delivery to internal and external customers. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee a €4.6 M stock portfolio and maintain a 5S‑driven work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate services to optimise supply times and costs, including logistics monitoring and delivery organisation.
• Supervise and develop a team of approximately six warehouse staff.
• Manage the operational relationship with BIA’s OEM, addressing organisational and quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with inbound/outbound processes and the Komatsu PPP programme.
• Oversee warehouse activities to guarantee efficient deliveries and rigorous stock management.
• Prepare and transmit activity reports to local management and stakeholders.
• Analyse complaints, organise physical inventories and resolve stock variances.
• Enforce stock‑management rules and the 5S audit process.
• Maintain safety standards for employees and external parties.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage inventory and analyse data.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong time‑management and team‑leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP.
