About the role

Rio Tinto is seeking two Warehouse Officers to manage the secure receipt and dispatch of parts at its Conakry site. The role involves verifying supplier deliveries, accurately recording transactions in SAP and working efficiently within a collaborative warehouse team.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily start‑of‑shift meetings and actively contribute to safety discussions.
• Verify all invoices from suppliers to ensure the accuracy of parts and quantities delivered.
• Record received parts in SAP, handling related email communications from the site, suppliers and the Simfer team.
• Manage physical stock, issue parts in SAP and promptly report any incidents or safety risks to the supervisor.
• Support secure receipt and release of parts while maintaining precise documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma in logistics or a related field with prior experience in store or warehouse management.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety in daily operations and high‑risk activities.
• Proactive ability to interact with internal and external customers and support them.
• Alignment with Rio Tinto and Simfer values and behaviours.
