Quality (QA/QC) Manager (m/f)

About the role

The Quality (QA/QC) Manager will lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the project's quality assurance and control systems. Reporting to project management, the manager ensures that all work complies with contract requirements, specifications, standards, and approved procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Assurance Plan and related procedures.
• Advise project management on quality performance, deficiencies, compliance issues, corrective actions, and improvement measures.
• Supervise and coordinate all QA/QC personnel, ensuring appropriate qualifications and competence.
• Interface with suppliers, subcontractors, laboratories, and consultants on quality matters.
• Coordinate quality activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and other project departments.
• Conduct inspections, audits, testing, monitoring, and verification to confirm compliance.
• Identify, record, and monitor non‑conformances and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Represent the project during external quality audits and inspections.
• Maintain comprehensive quality records, reports, and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles on construction or mining projects.
• Strong communication skills in French and/or English.
• Leadership, planning, organization, and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards and audits.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP.
• Familiarity with collaborative platforms.
