Deputy HSE Supervisor

About the role

The Deputy HSE Supervisor will support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental standards at our mining site in Beyla. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with operational supervisors to foster a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace inspections and assist in risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, prepare reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to teams on safe work practices and occupational health initiatives.
• Support HSE training programmes and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operational supervisors to promote continuous improvement in safety performance.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in health, safety and occupational health within mining or heavy‑industrial environments.
• Relevant technical or university degree in HSE, Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with international HSE standards and management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) is an advantage.
• Effective communication and coaching skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse on‑site teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to respond promptly to HSE issues in the field.
