Field Technician – Equipment Maintenance

About the role

Provides effective and efficient technical interventions on equipment used in field operations, ensuring customer satisfaction under BIA’s maintenance contracts and SLA agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot and repair field equipment according to shop manuals and OEM standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous equipment functionality, maximum utilization and availability.
• Follow planning instructions, respect reporting requirements and represent BIA’s values on the field.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and good knowledge of English.
• Minimum 5 years experience in mining or construction, and at least 5 years as an electrician.
• Technical school diploma.
