HME Maintenance Planner Superintendent

About the role

The HME Maintenance Planner Superintendent will lead the planning, coordination and continuous improvement of maintenance activities for all heavy mining equipment, support equipment and light vehicles at Kouroussa Gold Mine. Reporting to the HME Manager, this role ensures that maintenance is efficiently scheduled, executed safely and contributes to high equipment availability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance plans for the entire fleet.
• Optimize maintenance schedules to maximize reliability and equipment uptime.
• Coordinate major shutdowns, repairs and ensure timely execution of critical tasks.
• Monitor planning performance, analyse equipment data and drive process improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, spare‑parts requirements and cost tracking.
• Prepare regular performance reports for management.
• Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel on planning systems and best practices.
• Ensure all activities comply with company safety standards and support incident investigations.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of heavy mining equipment maintenance.
• Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling and reliability improvement.
• Leadership capability to guide and develop a planning team.
