Mechanic Team Leader

About the role

The Technical Team Leader will coordinate and execute maintenance activities for the mining fleet at our Guinea site. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures the team’s productivity while delivering preventive, predictive and corrective repairs in line with manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on the site’s mining equipment, following manufacturer instructions.
• Prepare and manage work orders, schedule interventions and ensure compliance with established maintenance plans.
• Maintain machines to manufacturer standards, using proper diagnostics and repair procedures.
• Report anomalies, complete required documentation and use dedicated templates accurately.
• Lead safety initiatives, conduct toolbox talks, enforce PPE use and apply LOTO procedures.

Required profile

• Technical school graduate (or equivalent).
• Fluent in French and proficient in technical English.
• Relevant mining experience (mining TP) is essential.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience is a plus.
