Mechanic

About the role

The Mechanic will provide effective and efficient technical interventions on field equipment used in public works, mining, quarrying and transport operations. Working under BIA’s maintenance contracts and SLA agreements, the role ensures optimal customer satisfaction through reliable equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot and repair field equipment according to shop manuals and repair processes.
• Ensure continuous equipment functionality, maximum utilization and availability by performing preventive and corrective maintenance following OEM standards.
• Follow planning instructions and respect reporting requirements.
• Represent BIA’s values on the field and maintain safe working conditions for all parties.
• Identify, record and report health, safety and environmental issues, complying with BIA’s HSE procedures.
