About the role

Join our team as a Diesel Mechanic and Heavy Equipment Intern and gain hands‑on experience in the maintenance and repair of critical diesel engines and heavy machinery. You will work side‑by‑side with seasoned technicians in a dynamic, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Participate in inspections and performance tests to ensure equipment reliability.
• Learn to operate advanced diagnostic tools and specialised maintenance equipment.
• Collaborate with the technical team to resolve complex mechanical issues.
• Maintain a safe workplace in compliance with industrial safety standards.
• Document all interventions, repairs and test results accurately.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a training program for diesel mechanics or heavy‑equipment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of diesel engine diagnosis and repair.
• Understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
• Organised, rigorous and able to work effectively in a team.
