Team Leader – Power System Operations

About the role

K&A Engineering Consulting is seeking a senior technical expert to lead power system operations for an MCC‑funded infrastructure project in Central America. The role focuses on electricity market design, regulatory compliance, renewable integration and battery energy storage.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership on power system dispatch and market design.
• Implement and oversee Security Constrained Economic Dispatch and Energy Monitoring Systems.
• Ensure regulatory frameworks are applied and updated.
• Guide integration of renewable energy sources and battery storage solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project milestones.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in power system dispatch and regulatory environments.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Law.
• Up‑to‑date CV, professional certificates, and relevant project references.
• Current city and country of residence.
