Trainer in Inventory Management, Cashiering and Supermarket Management

About the role

GI EXPERTISE, in partnership with Carrefour Market, is seeking experienced professionals to join the training team as Trainers in Inventory Management, Cashiering and Supermarket Management. The role involves designing and delivering both theoretical and practical training programmes for retail staff across West Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and deliver training modules covering inventory management, cash register operations and overall supermarket management.
• Develop curricula, lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with current retail and supply‑chain best practices.
• Conduct practical exercises, simulations and case studies to reinforce learning.
• Assess trainees' knowledge and skills, prepare training reports and monitor progress.
• Update training content regularly to reflect evolving industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Retail Management or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in inventory management, cashier operations, supermarket or retail management.
• Proven experience delivering professional or vocational training.
• Fluent French language skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using inventory management software.
• Experience using cash management / register software.
