Tyre Supervisor – Mining Equipment

About the role

The Tyre Supervisor will lead tyre maintenance activities for the entire mining fleet at Kouroussa Gold Mine. Reporting to the Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) Manager, you will ensure tyre reliability, safety and optimal performance across all mining, support and light‑vehicle equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate tyre repair, replacement and routine maintenance to maximise fleet availability.
• Monitor tyre performance, analyse wear trends and implement improvements to extend tyre life.
• Conduct regular inspections of tyres on mining, support and light vehicles.
• Develop and manage tyre forecasting and change‑out plans, maintaining accurate inventories.
• Supervise tyre bay and workshop activities, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and site regulations.
• Lead, train and mentor tyre technicians, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions when required.
