About the role

The Agricultural Development Officer will support the rollout of both financial (agricultural credit) and non‑financial (training and advisory) services offered by Entrepreneurs du Monde in Guinea. Working under the Rural Development Project Manager, the role focuses on strengthening agro‑microfinance programmes and expanding services for rural households.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical agricultural support to micro‑finance programmes (approximately 60% of time).
• Co‑author and edit agro‑training materials, including field school modules.
• Facilitate the network of agricultural technical advisors through webinars, weekly reports and the internal FONIO platform.
• Participate in the recruitment, onboarding and training of new agricultural advisors.
• Propose improvements to enhance the delivery of agricultural advisory services.
• Train micro‑finance teams on agricultural credit products and farmer‑specific needs.
• Assist in prospecting new micro‑finance programmes in rural areas.

Required profile

• Experience in agricultural development, rural micro‑finance or related sectors.
• Ability to work with vulnerable populations and adapt solutions to local contexts.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in preparing training documentation.

Required skills

• FONIO software (internal reporting tool).
