Commercial Executive

About the role

Careers International is hiring a full-time Commercial Executive in Conakry within the manufacturing sector. The role covers sales strategy, lead generation, deal closing, client relationship management and administrative support, with a focus on international exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and business development: develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets, generate leads through market research, cold calling, networking and industry outreach, and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract negotiation and closure.
• Market analysis: monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market developments to spot opportunities and risks.
• Client retention: build long-term relationships with clients, work with Marketing, Product and R&D teams, and act as the main point of contact for queries, complaints and technical issues.
• Documentation: manage commercial documents such as contracts, pricing lists and billing records.
• Reporting: prepare sales forecasts, performance reports and presentations for senior management.
• CRM management: use CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) to track leads, customer interactions and sales pipeline metrics.

Required profile

• BBA/MBA in Sales & Marketing.
• Fluent English and French (at least intermediate); additional Indian languages are an advantage.
• Experience in steel or other manufacturing, FMCG/FMCD, or hydrocarbon and lubricants is preferred.
• Mandatory experience working in African markets.
