Dataset Curator – AI & ML Data Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Dataset Curator to design, maintain and optimise high‑quality datasets that power AI, machine‑learning and large‑language‑model projects. Working closely with data scientists, AI trainers and engineers, you will ensure that the data used for model training is accurate, diverse and ethically sourced.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate and structure datasets from multiple domains for AI/ML training.
• Annotate and label data according to project guidelines, using annotation tools.
• Detect and resolve inconsistencies, duplicates and bias in datasets.
• Maintain comprehensive metadata, documentation and version control for all datasets.
• Collaborate with AI trainers and data engineers to define dataset requirements and quality metrics.
• Continuously monitor dataset performance and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in dataset curation, data analysis or data management.
• Proven experience handling large‑scale datasets for AI or ML projects.
• Awareness of ethical considerations, bias detection and mitigation in AI datasets.
