Egocentric Video Data Collector

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to record first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. This remote contract role involves wearing a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses while performing routine tasks, providing valuable data to train next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots.

Key responsibilities

• Capture raw POV video of meaningful daily tasks in various residential or workspace environments.
• Wear a comfortable head strap or smart glasses (provided) to record hands and objects interacting naturally.
• Strictly follow technical recording specifications, including stable lighting, landscape orientation, specific resolution (1080p at 30/60 FPS), and camera angles.
• Upload unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within the agreed timeframe.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and re‑record clips if submissions do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a functional residential or relevant workspace environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recording rules (hands visible, no mirrors/reflections, steady framing).
• Privacy‑conscious: ensure no faces of other people, personal identification documents, or sensitive data are captured.
• Self‑starter capable of committing 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.

Required skills

• Operation of a modern smartphone camera (1080p resolution at 30/60 FPS).
