Export-Import Executive

About the role

Careers International is hiring a full-time Export-Import Executive in Conakry within the manufacturing sector. The role covers trade documentation, regulatory compliance, logistics coordination and reporting on shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify trade documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, certificates of origin, letters of credit and shipping bills, and keep accurate electronic and physical records.
• Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, RBI and FEMA guidelines, manage export incentives (Duty Drawback, MEIS/RODTEP, Advance Licenses) and classify goods by HSN.
• Liaise with custom house agents, freight forwarders and shipping lines, track shipments and negotiate freight rates and transport modes.
• Coordinate with Finance, Sales and Procurement and communicate with overseas clients and suppliers.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports on shipment costs, KPIs and compliance status.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of Incoterms, international trade laws and customs procedures.
• Strong negotiation, attention to detail and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
