Fleet Manager

About the role

The Fleet Manager will lead the planning, prioritisation and execution of technical service activities for BIA's equipment fleet in Guinea. You will ensure that maintenance contracts and service‑level agreements are fulfilled while maintaining the highest standards of equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and review technical service procedures and standards.
• Monitor cost and effectiveness of activities to optimise resources and meet timeliness, reliability and customer satisfaction targets.
• Plan, prioritise and implement service activities to fulfil maintenance contracts and SLA commitments.
• Estimate cost, time and resources for installations, upgrades and other technical services, and track progress against work orders.
• Research, evaluate and recommend new equipment and tools to enhance the technical service team.
• Select, manage, coach and develop a team of service engineers and technicians.
• Ensure proper use of ERP tools to track activities and provide detailed reports to OEMs, customers and BIA.
• Promote and enforce HSE standards, conduct risk analyses and safety briefings, and ensure PPE compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technical service or fleet teams in equipment‑intensive environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise multiple projects.
• Excellent knowledge of HSE procedures and risk assessment methods.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop technical staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for activity tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and fleet management processes.
• Understanding of HSE standards and safety briefing techniques.
