Legal Data Analyst (Remote)

About the role

The Legal Data Analyst will turn complex legal information—contracts, case records, regulatory filings, and policy documents—into actionable data insights. Working remotely, you will support legal strategy, compliance, and risk management by combining legal expertise with advanced analytics and AI techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze litigation outcomes, regulatory filings, and contract terms to uncover trends and risks.
• Translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations for legal and business teams.
• Create and maintain high‑quality training data, craft prompts for large language models, and evaluate model outputs for legal relevance.
• Support regulatory compliance by mapping emerging requirements to internal processes.
• Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Lead automation projects that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Optimize deployment of legal technology tools, including AI‑driven solutions.
• Assist with data governance, classification, retention policies, and quality standards for legal data assets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal analysis, legal operations, compliance analytics, or data analysis within a legal environment.
• Strong ability to translate complex legal concepts into quantitative data structures.
• Proven project‑management skills and capacity to deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines.
• Experience in at least one area such as litigation analytics, regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, AML/KYC), contract analytics, IP, or privacy law.
• Detail‑oriented problem‑solver with excellent analytical rigor.
