Manager – Value Creation

About the role

The Manager – Value Creation is responsible for driving sustainable value across the Simandou project. You will identify, develop, and deliver initiatives that improve operational efficiency, optimise costs, and enhance financial performance while embedding a value‑driven culture.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse operational performance, financial data and market trends to uncover cost‑reduction and revenue‑enhancement opportunities.
• Partner with business units to assess under‑performing processes and design targeted improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement initiatives such as supply‑chain optimisation, asset utilisation and operational efficiency projects.
• Develop robust business cases and financial models to justify and prioritise initiatives.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards, monitor progress, track benefits and report outcomes to senior leadership.
• Act as a change agent, promoting continuous improvement and value‑driven decision‑making.
• Provide financial insights, scenario analysis and recommendations for strategic planning and capital allocation.
• Utilise the Momentum tool to track initiatives and ensure benefit realisation.
• Build internal capabilities through training and coaching on Lean, Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies.

Required profile

• Strong strategic mindset with a focus on delivering measurable financial impact.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across finance, operations, procurement and technical teams.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
