Planner - Equipment Maintenance

About the role

BIA Group, active in the sales, rentals and after-sales services of equipment for public works, mines, quarries and transport, is looking for a Planner in Guinea. The planner supports the service activity, organises resources and the workforce, and contributes to the good performance of the equipment fleet and the execution of the maintenance policy and procedures of BIA and the manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Quality: help set up the quality plan, apply quality standards, report improvement opportunities and non-conformities, follow up and analyse KPIs and comply with procedures.
• HSE: take part in toolbox talks, know security policies, wear PPE correctly, improve HSE indicators, apply the Take 5 procedure, keep equipment in good condition, keep the workplace clean and report accidents, incidents and breaches to the HSE team.
• Operation: manage execution and planning parameters, maintenance service and planned repairs; track information daily and take corrective action; process work orders in the appropriate system, collect and consolidate documentation, and, with the Warehouse Manager, ensure order lists are made on time.
• Reporting: respect hierarchical levels, escalate abnormal situations to the Planning Manager, attend maintenance and safety meetings and take part in the monthly activity report.

Required profile

• French and ideally English (at least good knowledge of the second language).
• Ideally mining or TP (transport equipment) experience.

Required skills

• ERP systems and MS Office (CMS, SAP and more)
