Remote Accountant (US GAAP/UK GAAP)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our remote team full‑time. You will be responsible for daily accounting operations, financial reporting and tax compliance, supporting our growth with accurate and timely financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, including expenses, revenue and invoices in the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure tax compliance.
• Compute tax payments, prepare tax returns and process payroll.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and expense analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP or UK Accounting Principles (IFRS/UK GAAP).
• CPA (US) or ACCA/ACA/CIMA (UK) preferred.
• Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
